Experience

​

I have spent most of my life in the golfing world, beginning as a caddy in the Chicago area at the age of eleven. After graduating from the Univeristy of Illinois with a BA in Landscape Architecture, I began work with Ellis and Dan Maples in Pinehurst, NC. In my 16 years with the Maples organization I worked on over 30 golf course projects in the US and abroad. During my years with Ellis Maples I was taught the fine art of classic golf course design and construction.

Since starting my own firm in the summer of 1999, I have strived to produce uncomplicated and elegant golf course designs. I have also used this same philosophy in the reconstruction of existing golf courses blending the old with the new in a very unique and subtle style.
