Lexington Golf Club Lexington, NC

Lexington Golf Club was built in 1938 by one of North Carolina's accomlished professionals and former president of the Carolinas PGA, Mr. Dugan Aycock. In 2004, ASGCA Architect Michael Gleason was hired to renovate the existing course to bring the golfing public a new and exciting challenge. The result was voted one of the "Top 5 Renovations of 2004" by Crittenden's Golfinc Magazine. Overall, seven golf holes were rerouted or altered to eliminate blind shots and add extra length. The courses bunkers and greens complexes were revised to accentuate the natural beauty of the site. This is truly one of the hidden gems of North Carolina.
